Selling cell phones for cash is not a difficult thing to do as we all know. Lately, with phone plans changing and people being able to upgrade more frequently I am worried that the cell phone business plan could possible be phased out. I have just discovered this video on youtube
Think about the number of organizations that are looking for fundraisers. After doing a bit of research, I have found that this is a highly competitive business! Mike from the North Shore Sales Glove Fundraiser
has a great idea that would benefit any group. Selling winter knit gloves is a much easier sale than candy etc. Especially when you are required to collect money ahead of time for those fundraisers. No one wants to be hassled to fill out order forms etc. and then receive products months later. Gloves, however, are invaluable. At a cold sporting event? I would definitely fork over $5 for a pair of gloves to keep my hands warm.
Mike has a great business model with no money down and no risk to the group doing the fundraiser. Pay for what you sell and send back the rest. Just some food for thought if your cell phone sales are waning. Fundraising might be a great avenue to go down if you can get in front of the right people.
